Superman 2012

Henry Cavill has been cast as Clark Kent aka Superman in the latest movie of the comic-book hero. The film will be directed by Zack Snyder and is due for release in 2012.

The 27-year-old actor was reportedly shorlisted for "Superman Returns" but the role eventually went to Brandon Routh.

Henry Cavill is known for his role in the series "The Tudors". Cavill will soon be seen as Theseus in a mythological special effects and big budget film entitled "Immortals".
